With Music Unlimited’s Basic service, you can enjoy commercial-free, uninterrupted music across a variety of channels and genres and provide instant feedback on each song to ensure that the service is learning your music preferences and providing the proper recommendations based on your personal tastes. Coming to PlayStation Plus: Sonic the Hedgehog, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and ModNation Racers Full Game Trial

Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a nice Valentine’s Day. We’re continuing to spread the love around PlayStation Plus into March with four featured games, an early access demo for Playstation Move, and a discount on another PlayStation Network exclusive title – all coming to you on March 1.
As mentioned in an earlier post about the arrival of the SEGA Genesis Collection, PlayStation Plus subscribers will get Sonic the Hedgehog for free and one month early from when it will be released to the rest of the PlayStation Network! Not that it needs much of an introduction, but SEGA is reviving the classic adventures as Sonic battles Dr. Robotnik for control of South Island. Speed through classic levels like “Green Hill Zone” as you unlock trophies in this piece of gaming history. The SEGA Vintage Collection also includes Streets of Rage 2, Golden Axe 2, Altered Beast and many more – all free for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
In addition to Sonic the Hedgehog, we are offering downloads of a sequel of one of our favorite PSone series and a full game trial of one of our signature “Play, Create, Share” titles. We’re happy to release Spyro: Year of the Dragon, from Insomniac Games, which is the third installment in the PSOne series. This is a great follow up for any PlayStation Plus subscribers who downloaded Spyro the Dragon and Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage. Also, be sure to download the full-game trial for ModNation Racers, developed by United Front Games. With the highly active community there are tons of mods, karts and tracks to download and try out. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get early access to the demo for PlayStation Move Heroes. Explore the familiar landscapes from the smash hit franchises Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Sly Cooper – ripped apart and rebuilt for the PlayStation Move Motion Controller.
Finally, our update includes a discount of 80% off on Blast Factor – one of the first PlayStation Network exclusives – and downloads for Enigmo (the new mini from Pangea Software) and Pix’n Love Rush, which are both being offered to PlayStation Plus for free two weeks prior to their release to the rest of the PlayStation Network.

DC Online Universe Legends continue this week with day & date issue #2! In the startling second issue, the Lex Luthor of a post-apocalyptic future scrambles to escape Brainiac’s invasion of Earth, but he must gather an army to stop the invasion. Who will he recruit?
Artemis Zogg’s warship has been destroyed, but the battle isn’t over for Ratchet & Clank, in issue #6 of the comic series featuring the iconic video-games characters. The duo will once again have to team up with President Qwark in this final, fun-filled issue!
Locke & Keys: Keys to the Kingdom continues with issue #4, where our heroes find out that working with a dead man can have some terrifying consequences as they embark on their most perilous raid ever. PlayStation Home Update: Urgent Fury Joins Community Theater, New Items + More

This Thursday, February 17th marks the launch of the newest member of the PlayStation Home Community Theater program: Urgent Fury! Urgent Fury is a gaming community focused mainly on FPS games, most notably the SOCOM franchise and will be sharing exclusive videos with the Home community beginning this Thursday. Patrick “Commander Fury” Gross of UF has this to say:
“Our goal in Urgent Fury has always been to create a ‘central hub’ for tactical gamers everywhere – a place where they can congregate and compete in a friendly environment. We believe that Urgent Frequency Television is an extension of that philosophy and allows us to reach a whole new audience. We can’t wait to bring our videos directly to the PlayStation Home community.”
Also playing this week in the Community Theater is the newest edition of the HomeCast Rewind series and the latest episode of Replay with Doc, which includes an interview with the winner of The Tester Season 2 (SPOILER!), Gaymer.
The PlayStation Home Mall receives an update this week with new furniture, clothing, and active items – including new lighting options for the party-minded. Check out this video that highlights some of this week’s virtual item offerings.
Speaking of virtual items, nDreams is bringing horror fans a variety of new decorations from the upcoming film Monsters. Visit the PlayStation Home Mall this Thursday to pick up yours.
VeeMee’s London Pub Radio – included in the London Pub personal space – gets new tunes this week. So Timeless blends the classic soul sounds of the 70′s with 90’s lyricism and today’s swagger while Pierre Massé showcases singer/songwriter stylings in “Give the World.” Electric Sugar Children’s sparkly and shiny “Lead Singer Syndrome” leads to Electroverse’s busy space-jams and Order 66’s bouncy pop-punk. Exclusive 3D Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Video – Available Today

As the folks over at Sports Illustrated previously announced, their iconic swimsuit models are available to make an appearance in your living room today—in 3D—when the exclusive video hits the PlayStation Store. The “Swimsuit in 3D” video, which is also available for rental and purchase in 2D format, features the swimsuit models on-location at their 2011 shoots for the popular edition of the magazine.
In addition to the behind-the-scenes 3D video, we’re also excited to bring you more than 12 hours of Swimsuit video content, including the official hour-long “Making of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011” video, four videos focusing on this year’s shoot locations, and “Making of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit” videos from the last decade. Also coming to the PlayStation Store are the exclusive dynamic themes featuring SI Swimsuit models.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit videos, along with a free three-minute preview of the “Swimsuit in 3D” video, are available now in the video section of the PlayStation Store as well as on Video On Demand powered by Qriocity for Sony’s 3D compatible and network-enabled 2010 and 2011 BRAVIA HDTVs and 2011 Blu-ray Disc players.
